Williamson County Art Guild in the News

If you ever travel to Georgetown Texas, don't miss the Framer's Gallery right off the square. Inside this unique gallery you will find, OF COURSE, some of my art, but also some very interesting things. Inside are 3 smaller galleries; the first one for the Central Texas Pastel Society to exhibit monthly, secondly an area for a one-man show monthly and third, a gallery for the Williamson County Art Guild. The gallery is owned and operated by Fred Bolgen who is also the President of the Art Guild. The guild has really grown since moving into Fred's gallery. I don't know the exact numbers but something like from 50 to nearly 200. Fred is there most of the time, selling his frames, art and plugging the Art Guild. The Art Guild has a web presence www.wcartguild.org and if you visit there you will find out lots of information about the guild. Clink on current news and you will be able to download all the colorful newsletters from the past year. They are all PDF files for easy viewing. This is an booming organization, a great little gallery and part of a greater effort by the residents and businesses of this small town to turn it into and art destination. Check out the web page, the news and when in Georgetown, don't miss it.
