Second in my September series. I lived in the resort town of Breckenridge Colorado for many years...lucky me. September in Colorado is about the Aspen. In Colorado, the colors start turning early in the higher elevations and up north. In Breckenridge, they start in September and we lived in a grove of them. September was also about a sprinkling of snow on the mountains, 4-wheel drive trips to the high country and pouring foundations. My husband was a general contractor and concrete doesn't like -30 so this was also a busy time getting ready for winter. Kids in school...............ski season coming. Great memories!
