Thanks David Mankin

I am starting a new adventure into Abstraction. I discovered this amazing artist living across the sea in Cornwall.  AND I recommend looking up his work online.  David Mankin

In my heart I am a landscape painter but really want to express my feelings rather than detail.  So here we go.  My oldest son, who prefers easy to identify skies, oceans etc, sat studying this painting and said “that is interesting!”   I asked him what he saw and he replied that he saw forests, mountains, and maybe sky and water.   He said that he did not really see it but felt it  So far so good!

Sometimes we see these clouds in Texas.  Early Morning road trip. We have had some beautiful storms this summer with plenty of rain to keep everything green.
