New Job at Williamson County Art Guild

Two years creating a newsletter for this great organization was enough. Membership chair should be much easier. Be sure and visit their webpage at www.wcartguild.org. You can access all the newsletters from their webpage.

Another interesting newly formed organization in the area is Georgetown Art Works, www.georgetownartworks.org. They will again be sponsoring the Fall Art Hop in October. You can download a prospectus from their webpage. The Art Hop is open to all Texas artists working in painting, printmaking or photography. Last year's first Art Hop was a great success. The group is sponsoring many upcoming functions for Georgetown. Be sure and check their webpage for information.

The city of Round Rock's newly formed group Round Rock Arts held their first art show titled "Imagine" at the newly built Texas State University facility in Round Rock. I had three paintings in the exhibit and the "Once Great Babylon" (attached) hung in the facility for 3 months for their long term exhibit. This was an amazing art exhibit and the reception was first class.

  1. I find the subtle reflections of your minds' images, vivid in a subliminal archetype.

The obtuse color blends seem to intiate a sound cacophony on the paper!
