This mixed-media painting on a 16x20 canvas was painted while watching hours and hours of Univision's and Telefutura's 24 hour coverage of the rescue of the 33 miners in Chile. I was transfixed and continue to be amazed by the strength of the miners and the world's efforts to rescue them. I have started two more paintings on this subject.
